How it works

Parents set the tasks. Children mark them done and earn coins. Parents approve with one tap, and the coins get spent on rewards you picked together — a movie night, a trip to the pool, or real pocket money saved into a digital piggy bank.

Pairing a child's device

Open parent mode → Devices → Pair a device. Show the 6-digit code (or the QR code) to the child's device on its start screen. One child can have several devices.

I forgot the parent PIN

On the parent sign-in screen choose Forgot PIN. We email a code to the parent address on the account, and you set a new PIN. The PIN is stored only as a hash — nobody, including us, can read it.

Advertising

The free version shows one banner inside the PIN-protected parent area. It never appears on a child's screen, and it is non-personalised. A Premium subscription removes it.

Premium and purchases

Premium is bought in the app and covers the whole family — any parent can buy it or restore it. To restore a purchase on a new device, sign in as a parent and open Settings → Premium → Restore purchases. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account, not in Rewardo.

Deleting your account

Parent mode → Settings → Danger zone → Delete family erases everything immediately. Full details: account deletion.

Rewardo ("we") helps families gamify children's chores. This policy explains what data we process and your rights under the EU GDPR. We are the data controller; contact us at kidsreplay@vitarego.app.

What we collect

Parent account: email (login) and a hashed PIN. Children's profiles: a first name and an emoji avatar chosen by the parent — we do not ask for a child's surname, birth date, photo, or contact details. App data: tasks, rewards, coin/€ balances and their history, and device push tokens.

Why, and the legal basis

We process this data solely to provide the service (Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of the agreement with the parent). We do not profile your family, and we do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Advertising

The free version shows a single banner advert inside the PIN-protected parent area — never on any screen a child uses. It is served by Google AdMob configured as child-directed and non-personalised: it is not based on a profile of you, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites. No family data is passed to advertisers. A Premium subscription removes the banner entirely.

Children's data

The service is operated by the parent, who sets it up and consents on the child's behalf. In Latvia the digital age of consent is 13. We minimise children's data to a display name and avatar and never transmit device identifiers from children's devices.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Data is stored on our own server in the European Union (Germany) with encrypted transport (HTTPS). A small number of providers process limited data on our behalf: Sentry (crash diagnostics, EU region), Google AdMob (the parent-area banner described above), and Apple and Google push services, which deliver notifications to your devices. We keep data while the family account exists. Deleting the family in the app (Settings → Delete family) erases all of it, and nightly backups roll off within two weeks.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, restrict, or erase your family's data at any time — most directly through the app, or by contacting us. You can delete everything yourself via Settings → Delete family. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

By using Rewardo you agree to these terms. The app lets a parent create a family, assign chores, and reward children with in-app coins and optional real-money savings tracked in the app.

Accounts

You need a valid email and a PIN to run parent mode. You are responsible for keeping your PIN private and for the activity in your family account. Children join by a one-time pairing code you generate.

The in-app economy

Coins and savings (€) shown in the app are a family bookkeeping tool. Any real money or real-world reward — including screen time honored through your device's own controls — is arranged and provided by you, the parent, outside the app; we are not a payment service and hold no funds.

Rewardo Premium subscriptions

Rewardo is free to use. The optional Rewardo Premium plan unlocks unlimited children, tasks and rewards, adds school-grade rewards and kid-proposed quests, and removes the banner advert from the parent area.

• Rewardo Premium — Monthly — EUR 4.99, billed every month until cancelled.
• Rewardo Premium — Annual — EUR 29.99, billed every 12 months until cancelled.
• Rewardo Premium — Lifetime — EUR 59.00, a single one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews.

The monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase, and the plan renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal charge is taken within those last 24 hours. Prices are billed in your store's local currency and can differ by country — the exact price for your account is always shown in the app before you confirm.

You can manage or cancel a plan at any time in your Apple ID settings or in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and the period you have already paid for runs to its end; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If a free introductory period is offered, its length is shown in the app before you confirm, and any unused part of it is forfeited when the subscription starts.

Premium belongs to the family account, not to one phone: any parent in the family can buy or restore it, and every member gets the benefits. Payments are handled by Apple or Google — we never see your card details — and refunds follow that store's own policy.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

Acceptable use

Use the app only for your own family. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or access other families' data.

No warranty; liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages. Notifications depend on the device and network and may be delayed or unavailable.

Termination

You may delete your family at any time in Settings, which ends these terms for you. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Contact: kidsreplay@vitarego.app.

You can erase your Rewardo family account and ALL its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Fastest: in the app

Parent mode → Settings → Danger zone → Delete family → confirm with your PIN. This permanently erases the family: parent accounts, children's profiles, tasks, rewards, coin/€ history, photos and device pairings.

Without the app: by email

Email kidsreplay@vitarego.app from the parent email address you registered with, subject "Account deletion request". We verify the request by replying to that address and erase the family within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What is deleted, and when

Everything listed above is erased from the live database immediately. Encrypted nightly backups roll off automatically within 14 days. Nothing is retained after that.

Partial deletion

You can also remove a single child (Parent mode → child → Remove) without deleting the whole account.
